when he comes up witha name that hasn't already been in the press I'll happily put more faith into him

until then I'll read what he puts out but with a heavy dose of cynicism

Not strange at all Eggie. Quite natural really. Only strange if you are looking to prove that he's a phoney. I don't care really as he gets most things right and there'd only be press reports, C&H and Boleyn Insider to listen to...

strange he came out with that inside info just after it first appeared in the press they were going on that day

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
Hernandez needs to realise that he could be a 1st choice player at WH. He will invariably have big name and big bucks strikers to compete against at clubs like Man Utd who might be short on strikers now but by the end of the window...?

Burns

sound slike they may well be,although having lost RVP and Falcao that would still leave them down 1 striker

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
Van Gaal could be saying that to bump up the fee.

Having said that I don't think he'll sign for us. Would like to be wrong.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
the few times BFS tried 3 at the back i seem to remember it went ok?
i'm sure he did it at old trafford in a cup replay.

Ogbonna gives some balance on the left nicely. If thats what we are doing then i might be tempted to get one more centre back to fight with Tomkins for a place. Ginge will likely bbe moved on.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
I see this story panning out just the same as the time when we were supposidly "bidding" for Ole Gunnar Solskjær (when he was nearing the end of his United career) that never materailsed and neither will this.

It'll go on and on and in the end it will be wasted time that we could have used trying to get someone else in.

I assumed Hernandez was pretty much just a poacher/tap-in merchant but was pleasantly surprised to see a few long range goals whilst he was at Madrid.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
‘He’s coming back’ West Ham suffer blow in battle for returning £8million Manchester United striker

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has admitted Javier Hernandez could get a second chance at Old Trafford this season.

The Mexican striker is set to join the United squad in America next week along with some big name players, and after his Real Madrid loan, will be desperate to succeed. Van Gaal reveals why he let the likes of Danny Welbeck and Hernandez leave, but admits he needs strikers now with Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie shown the door. “I made the decision to let (Danny) Welbeck and Chicharito (Hernandez) go.

At the end of August, we also bought (Radamel) Falcao. “When you play a system with two strikers, you have to let players go, but Chicharito is coming back.”

West Ham were hoping to bring Hernandez to Upton Park as they look to secure a new striker, but United are set to reject any approaches for now, with Spurs also reportedly keen.

Surely all they have to do is write it out and put it in a envelope. Get on with it!

And Hernandez is the real deal. Wanted us to get him before he went to Real.

Re: West ham allegedly preparing bid for Javier Hernandez
Ive been saying we need to play with a back 5 all last season. Its a no brainer. 2 of the quickest full backs in the league and both are better than our wingers. 3 strong CBs, now even stronger.

Also gives us far more solidity in midfield with the CDM(s) able to tuck in and not get dragged out. Then Payet can roam across the front line and not have to be out wide all the time and have extra cover behind him
